The lifespan of an ad depends on its category:
- Ads in Property, Services, Vehicles and Jobs will be live for 90 days.
- Ads in Community, Pets and For Sale (Marketplace) will be live for 90 days.
Once the ad’s run-time is up, we’ll send you an email notice that your ad is about to expire. You can apply a Bump Up at any time to reset its clock. If no Bump Up is applied, the ad will be removed from the queues and placed into your Inactive Ads list.
Inactive Ads
After you delete an ad or it expires, we save a copy of it in your Inactive Ads section. Inactive ads are not visible to anyone but you. We keep them for you so you can use them as a reference for future ads. We automatically delete images from inactives ads after 6 months. Inactive ads can’t be deleted or removed from your list.
How to Repost Ads
After your ad expires, you can still repost it by applying a Bump Up. A Bump Up will put the ad back into the queues as if you’d created a whole new ad – without the hassle. Bumped Up ads will run for the same amount of time as they originally ran (90 days).
If you don’t want to apply a Bump Up you can still post your ad again, but it will have to be done by manually creating a new version.
